Description

The implementation of the cooled water distribution system and the ventilation and smoke extraction systems were challenges presented in 1996 for the creation of this shopping centre of 119,725 m² in area and around 340 stores.

The Colombo Towers, included in the initial project as an integral part of the Colombo Shopping Centre, only began to be built in 2007, however, the joint work of external teams of designers and the former SISTAVAC project team ensured this was the first A+ certified facility for a building of this size and complexity in Portugal.
