IADE has been a member of Laureate International Universities since 2015, the biggest higher education group in the world, entrusted with the mission of providing higher education with a multicultural focus. Founded in 1988, Laureate has over 80 institutions in  29 countries and online, comprising over a million students and more than 70,000 employees.

This building, belonging to the SELECTA fund, was designed by the architect Tomás Taveira, and has been rehabilitated in terms of ventilation and air conditioning and certified by ADENE. A highly challenging renovation project geared to minimising the impact on the daily life of the university marked the thorough execution of a project which was also designed by RACE (former SISTAVAC)
