Description

The Douro-Lamego School of Hospitality and Tourism was created in the year 2000 within the scope of the collaboration protocol between the Lamego Town Council, the South Douro Tourism Region and the Coordination Committee for the North Region, within the framework of the Douro Valley Tourism Development Plan.

The school building (one of the four existing on the school campus) consists of two floors, organised from a functional perspective into a ground floor for operational and support activities and a 1st floor for the entire structure for theoretical training and specific laboratories such as that for sensory analyses / organoleptic and TIC tests, accommodating up to 280 students undergoing training.

Although this project is not particularly large-scale, the technical installations involved are highly complex, all of which were designed, developed and executed by RACE (SISTAVAC at the time). An authentic showroom for our solutions and products.
